Merry Christmas!

Just a quick post to say Merry Christmas as let's be honest, who spends lots of time reading blogs on Christmas day?!

I just wanted to do a quick post on my gorgeous Christmas jumper pictured, which reads "This Girl Loves Christmas", I picked this up from ASOS a few weeks ago and have worn it to death in the run up to Christmas! I like to just dress comfy and casual on Christmas Day (hence the no shoes!) making sure it's something with an expandable waist!!

I've also taken the plunge and after 8 years of having blonde highlights, I finally decided to go brunette. I decided around 6 months ago and my hairdresser gradually kept adding brunette to my hair each time I had it coloured ready to go fully brunette a few days ago! It's also got a hint of red in there to give it more life and I absolutely love it!

Anyway, I'll stop rambling now and wish you all a Merry Christmas again and I hope you're all having a wonderful day!

vintage burberry

jacket - vintage Burberry (ebay), tee - h&m (old), shorts - urban outfitters (old), shoes - Topshop, bag - H&M

These pictures were taken around a month ago before the weather became super cold and I needed a thick coat! However, I wanted to use them for a post as I've never blogged about my little ebay find: my vintage Burberry Harrington Jacket. I found this jacket on ebay a few months ago and just had to have it. It's a gorgeous pink colour with a slight shimmer to it, luckily I wanted the sizing oversized as it's 2 sizes bigger than my actual size. It's lined with the infamous Burberry print and is super thick and cosy. I'd really advise checking out some of the vintage shops on ebay as they sometimes have really great items for a really good price!

As the jacket itself is a statement piece, I teamed it with this pair of elasticated checked shorts from Urban Outfitters, a simple plain white crop top with the word "Geniale" written across the chest and a pair of black pumps from Topshop, which have been everywhere this season. I received the bag as a gift for my birthday from a friend and use it constantly, it's such a nice size and goes with virtually everything.

I'm finally feeling ready for Christmas now I've finished wrapping all my presents and am sat wearing my Christmas jumper right now, which I'll be blogging about tomorrow. I always find it hard to decide whether to dress up on Christmas day or not but I think this year I'm just going to keep it casual in my Christmas jumper and a nice pair of trousers!

I hope you're all having a lovely Christmas wherever you are in the world and whether you celebrate today or tomorrow!

Merry Christmas!

duster coat

shirt - urban outfitters (old), jeans - ASOS, coat - ASOS, shoes - deena & ozzy via urban outfitters (similar here), handbag - new look (similar here), choker - amazon

It's been so so long since I did a blog post, it's shameful! I started back at University in September and I didn't anticipate just how much work final year entailed on top of applying for jobs, silly of me, I know. I've also had so much going on since I last posted, I've been to Toulouse, had my 21st birthday and have been to multiple concerts (The Courteeners, Paolo Nutini, Jake Bugg and Lady GaGa!) Due to this lack of posts, I now have a huge backlog of outfits so I'll be catching up over the Christmas holidays as I have 3 weeks off!

The duster coat is either a love/hate piece particularly the ones longer in length, they really create divided opinions! I love this duster coat and it was my favourite piece to wear throughout Autumn. It's so versatile as it can be worn both in the day, as shown in the photos above, or as a smart jacket for evening wear. It's now in the sale on ASOS so if you wanted the infamous ASOS one pictured, also seen on Kylie Jenner here, but didn't want to fork out £60, you can grab it now for just £42! I personally think ASOS has the best selection of duster coats so it's definitely worth checking them out if you're after one.

I picked this handbag up a few months ago in New Look in Toulouse whilst I was visiting one of my best friends there. I love the cobalt blue colour and shape of the bag, it also has a longer strap to wear it as a shoulder bag too. I picked up the checked shirt a while ago in Urban Outfitters. It's really easy to just throw over a plain white tee to jazz it up a bit or just wear on it's own with some skinny jeans. The jeans pictured are from ASOS and have a rip in one of the knees, they're low rise and ankle grazers so perfect to wear with loafers or ankle boots. Finally, the choker I'm wearing is from Amazon and was only £2.50! It's really simple but right on trend and so so cute.

What do you think of duster coats?

autumn florals

dress - Topshop (old) denim jacket - vintage Levi's via Ark, trainers - Office

I'm finally back after a long hiatus from my blog now I'm back from Germany after my year abroad. I've had such a busy month since finishing my placement: I had my 21st birthday, went to Toulouse in France to visit a friend and went to London Fashion Weekend, which was super exciting (huge thank you to my best friend, Charlie, for getting me the ticket for my birthday). I'm going to do a separate post on London Fashion Weekend sometime this week with all the photos I took and of my day there at Somerset House.

I love this drop waist floral dress from Topshop. I picked it up a few months ago in the sale and love the concept of Autumn Winter florals. Florals are usually categorised under Spring Summer wardrobe but recently there's been florals in darker colours with Wintery designs all over the high street. I teamed it with my oversized vintage Levi's denim jacket which I picked up via Ark's Vintage section on their website, I'd really recommend Levi's for denim jackets as they're thick and comfy which is great for when it's that funny "in-between Summer-Autumn weather". I then threw on my Nike Air Max's as the trainer trend is still hot and there's no signs of it going away any time soon, we saw that during Burberry's LFW SS15 show, where trainers were still present on the catwalk. The Nike Air Max 1's are my favourite trainer as they're so versatile, 90s and comfortable - would 100% recommend.

Hope you all had a nice weekend and my next post will be on my day at London Fashion Weekend.

J'adore rayures

jeans - urban outfitters (similar here), shirt - zara, trainers - nike via office, bag - la moda (coffee colour here)

I know this is the only bag I use in outfit posts at the minute but it's the only handbag I have in Germany with me now. My wardrobe's very limited at the minute as I've taken most of my clothes and shoes home now as I'm coming to the end of my year abroad so apologies that outfit posts haven't been very varied.

The title of this blog post means "I love stripes" - I am obsessed at the minute, over the past few weeks I've bought 4 striped pieces of clothing. I don't know if it's the inner part of me that secretly wants to be French that's taken over but it's crazy. I love how simple stripes are to wear and how elegant they can look. I picked up this blouse from Zara whilst I was in Leeds a few weeks ago, it's a light material with small gold buttons down the front with three quarter length sleeves - perfect for Summer.

I love how well stripes work with almost everything and they are definitely my obsession at the minute.

checks and stripes

jumper - urban outfitters (sale), shorts - urban outfitters, shoes - H&M (old), rings - topshop & primark, earrings - primark

I wore this outfit whilst I was in Leeds for the Tour de France, due to my quick editing skills, it's fairly obvious that someone has been cut out of this picture for the purpose of the outfit post (I'll post the original picture below - it's with Christian Prudhomme who's the race director of the Tour de France). I love the trend of stripes and checks together and I love the fact it's becoming more and more acceptable in fashion. I picked up these cute little shorts in the sale in Urban Outfitters and although they're quite wintery, the weather wasn't amazing so I felt they were acceptable to go to the parade the riders were doing through Leeds city centre. I'm a huge monochrome fan and wear it a lot (probably too much) but I love the simplicity of this whole outfit! The jumper's super cosy and after much deliberation, I left it untucked from the shorts as it was a little too thick to be tucked in and for me to get away with it!

I'm obsessed with the shoes from H&M and after only a couple of months of having them, I've nearly worn them to death (they were cheap so I can't complain) and in dire need of finding a similar replacement!

I loved you this month | July

☀ L-R: No.7 Eye Contouring Brush £7.25  No.7 Foaming Cleanser for Normal/Oily Skin £9.50 John Frieda Sheer Blonde Brightening Oil Elixir £9.99 (currently on offer for £6.66 at Boots) Revlon Brow Fantasy £6.99 MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy £15.50

I was going to do an outfit post today but realised I haven't taken any outfit photos in a while so decided to do a beauty one instead, as I haven't done one in a while. I've been loving all of these products this month, particularly the lipstick. I use the No.7 eye contouring brush for a mix of things - contouring my eyes like it's meant for but also to contour my nose - I just find it's the perfect size and shape to do the job much better than a facial contouring brush.

I've also been giving my Garnier cleanser a break at the minute and using this No.7 one. I find it to be much lighter than the Garnier one and doesn't tingle the skin when applying, so far I'm preferring using this foam consistency than the normal gel one I use. I've seen a vast improvement in my skin since using it and would definitely recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin.

I first heard of the John Frieda Oil Elixir through watching Lily Melrose's John Frieda Summer Series over on her YouTube channel. I'm sure most of you know who she is already, but if you don't, check her out because she's incredible at what she does. I apply a little bit of this whilst my hair's still wet after washing and have been seeing real results. It's left my hair in lush condition from the oil side of it and I've also noticed my highlights are much brighter since I've been using this. I like it as it's not too oily and greasy, like some other oil based products.

I've also been loving the Revlon Brow Fantasy too. It comes with a pencil applicator and also a pigmented setting gel. I've been using this daily and I love it. The pencil isn't too harsh and creamy so sets to the brows giving them a natural look. The gel is my favourite part of this product though, as it sets the brows all day without you having to re-touch, especially during this hot weather!

Finally, my favourite product of the bunch is this MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy. It's a matte finish but wonderfully creamy and hydrating. It's a deep nude colour and is great for everyday use. It's extremely well pigmented and lasts a while once applied! I mainly just love the colour of this lipstick and haven't found one quite like it by any other brand so if anyone has any other suggestions for a similar colour, please say as I'd love to try them out too!

All these products are easily available on the high street, in either a drugstore or your local MAC supplier for the lipstick.

What have you been loving this month?

distressed denim & pretty florals

top - H&M, bandeau - ASOS (similar here), skirt - urban outfitters, sandals - ASOS (similar here)

I love distressed denim, it's a fact. Whether it be in jacket, jeans or skirt form - I love it all. I love contrasting styles too so when I picked up this little floral crop top from H&M, I knew immediately I had to style it with something a little tougher to get a contrasting feel. It wore this to a meal out whilst I was at home, the weather was gorgeous however I didn't want to get my legs out completely. The crop top itself is quite baggy so I wore it with a bandeau to prevent any incidents. I then put on my favourite pair of chunky sandals, I cannot rave about these enough. They were so cheap and they're ridiculously comfy. I'm a huge fan of chunky shoes so the trends this Summer have been right up my street!

nouveau grunge

skirt - urban outfitters (similar here) top - romwe (similar here) flower hair band - primark, shoes - primark (similar here), necklace - primark (similar here)

I have no excuses as to why I've been awol the past month, it's just laziness on my part. I did have a few busy weekends with visitors then I was home for 2 weeks and in Yorkshire for the Tour de France so I've not been sat around doing nothing, however I definitely need to work on making more to update on here.

I've got a backlog of outfit posts ready to go too which is one positive so we'll start with this one. I love this tee shirt I got from Romwe a while back. It was my first time shopping with Romwe and after reading some horror stories online of their delivery, I was nearly put off but I went for it anyway and was really impressed! The quality of the clothes is what you'd expect as they're so cheap and delivery did take around 3 weeks which I expected anyway as they ship from China but I honestly couldn't fault them really. I ordered a size M but it is TINY, it's way too short to wear with anything not high waisted and I struggled to style it for a while without it looking like I was wearing a kids tee shirt. I ended up pairing it with this quilted A-line skirt from Urban Outfitters and a pair of pointed heels. I added the flowers and chain for a mix of a heavier and softer look.

I can't believe I'm nearing the end of my time in Germany too, I've been here nearly a year and only have 5 weeks left before I'm back in the UK for good. Crazy huh?

speak easy on the grape vine

skirt - urban outfitters (similar here), tee - H&M (old), shoes - H&M (sale)

It's bank holiday today in Germany and my Dad arrives for a long weekend, it should be super nice to see him and have a chilled long weekend before I head home a week tomorrow for the Tour de France!! I love this skirt I recently picked up in Urban Outfitters, it was reduced to 6 euros (I know, crazy right?) and I couldn't resist. It's an A Line skirt with fine checked detailing in grey in the fabric. It's quite thick so to cool down in the warm weather, I threw on this Aerosmith band tee from H&M which a friend bought me many years ago and it's still one of my favourites! I teamed this outfit with my favourite flats at the minute which are these pointed brogue style shoes from H&M. They have small cut outs at the side and a gun metal buckle, they're absolutely glooorious.

A very simple outfit but I love it nonetheless.

the no make up make up

The no make up make up look seems to be everywhere at the minute and I decided to give it a go! It's a lovely feeling knowing you're stepping out the house with a very nearly fresh face! I love the dewy look this look gives and think it's perfect for Summer, especially in hot weather if you still want to wear a little bit of make up!

I started by applying Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer all around my eye area to get rid of any dark circles and make my eyes seem more awake. I love this concealer as it needs minimal blending into the skin and is super light and creamy.

I then used Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream as a base for my face. This particular BB cream is oil free which is great for people with oily/combination skin, such as myself. It contains SPF 20 for sun protection and is a great solution for anyone looking for a foundation, primer and moisturiser all in one.

For my eyes I applied a couple of coats of Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara using the volumising brush for my top lashes and lengthening for the bottom. I've really warmed to this mascara over the past few months after slating it at first, I love the lengthening brush for a lighter look. I then filled my eyebrows in with the Urban Decay Brow Box in Honey Pot, I find a powder eyebrow kit much softer than a pencil and this is my favourite eyebrow kit to use.

I then applied a light coat of No.7 Perfect Light Loose Powder across my t-zone to set my make up in place for the day. This is my all time favourite powder and you'll rarely catch me using anything else. It's perfectly light and keeps your make up set allllllllllllll day.

I then brushed some of the Rimmel Natural Bronzer across my temples, cheek bones and jaw line to contour and create a sun-kissed effect on my skin. I then used Models Own Blusher in Cheeky Pink which is a bright popping pink colour which is also perfect for using as a highlighter. I put this on the apples of my cheeks for a pop of colour to my face. I was wary of this colour at first but it's such a gorgeous colour for Summer and when applied lightly creates a lovely subtle powder pink.

Finally, I applied my favourite nude lipstick at the minute, L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Collection PrivĂ©e Lipstick in Barely Greige by Cheryl Cole. This lipstick is a gorgeous beige nude and gives a subtle shine and blends in so well to my natural lip colour. Extremely subtle and perfect for the no make up make up look.

Have you tried out any no make up make up looks yet?

P.S. this is my 100th post on my blog, how quick has time gone?!

open sesame, we've places to go

top - Amazon, skirt - urban outfitters, sandals - Boohoo, sunglasses - Primark, necklace - Forever 21

I love this skirt I picked up in Urban Outfitters a few weeks ago in the sale for 12 euros, yes you have read that correctly, 12 euros. I'd had my eye on it for a while but couldn't justify the original price of 72 euros but I was ecstatic when I came across it reduced and in my size! I'm not usually a fan of pencil shaped skirts and in particular longer skirts as I get quite self conscious that my legs look really short as I'm not the tallest of people however this one fits the bill perfectly. Even though I'd had my eye on it a while, it's one of those items that I'd look at and think wow, I'd love to wear that and never actually buy it for myself so I'm glad I actually went for it this time and took a step out my comfort zone with the length and shape of this piece. I love finding things that I wouldn't usually wear and giving them a try, I always end up surprising myself! I teamed it with an Arctic Monkeys tee, hence the title of this blog post, a royal blue statement necklace and these gorgeous pewter coloured sandals from Boohoo. They're super comfortable and I love the spilled oil colour of these shoes, I'd definitely recommend them.

Have you surprised yourself with any purchases you wouldn't usually buy recently?

Miley Cyrus Bangerz Tour: What I Wore

dress - New Look via ASOS, jacket - vintage Levis via Ark, boots - New Look (similar here), necklace - Forever 21 (old), bracelet - Forever 21 (old)

I went to see Miley Cyrus on Frankfurt on her Bangerz Tour and here's what I wore. I have no idea why I decided to wear a jacket as I soon took it off in the queue as I realised it was actually 28 degrees, I then proceeded to burn the whole of my upper back as I'd put no sun cream on, realllll clever. Anyway, I picked up this dress from New Look via ASOS for £12.99, I love the cut of the chest area and think it makes it a little more unique for an LBD. I teamed it with my trusty cut out boots which I've worn to death, they're so comfy and versatile. I added a blue statement necklace for a pop of colour to my outfit and a simple gold chain bracelet. I didn't want to over accessorize as I had a standing ticket and didn't want multiple accessories getting in the way and getting tangled in other peoples clothes (believe it or not, that has actually happened to me before).

I had such a good night at the concert, she put on a real show and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I saw Miley on her Wonderworld tour in 2009 and have been waiting patiently for her to tour Europe so I could see her live again and it was definitely worth a 5 year wait! Sky Ferriera was supporting and I LOVE her so was super happy about that too. I ended up about 2nd/3rd row and here's a few pictures from the night that I took:

I ain't lookin' at you for no particular reason

dress - boohoo, denim jacket - boohoo, sunglasses - thrifted, shoes - converse (very old), bag - la moda (no longer in black but still available in grey, dark brown and tan)

I can't believe I haven't updated in 2 whole weeks, I've not had a lack of things to post at all, if anything, it's the complete opposite! I've just been feeling very lethargic and now have a build up of outfit posts from the past 2 weeks that I need to post! I wore this outfit last weekend when I was in the Netherlands with my friends and family, it was a gorgeous sunny day but as we were going on a boat, I opted for tights as I knew it would be chilly on the water! I'm still obsessing over this bag from La Moda, I've been using it non stop since I bought it at Easter. I picked up this plain white dress from Boohoo a few weeks ago and I think it's so cute for Summer. It's a chiffon style material and super light and cool for warm weather. It's also available in coral and yellow. I'd really recommend it as an every day dress for Summer and it's only £15!

I went to see Miley Cyrus on Friday so I'll be posting a "what I wore" in the next few days, it was so amazing and I'm so glad I got to see her live again! I saw her in 2009 on her Wonderworld tour and have been waiting patiently for her to tour Europe again since! I'll post some photos in my next post or if you follow me on instagram, you've probably seen the spam from Friday night of all my Miley photos/videos!

It's bank holiday tomorrow in Germany and we've had a few days of 33 degree weather so I'm looking forwards to a chilled day relaxing and blogging :)

I'm definitely going to try and start doing 2-3 posts a week after this little stint and get back to a normal routine again!

Hope you all had lovely weekends

blue dots and holi

jeans - urban outfitters (similar here), tee - topshop (old), shoes - marks & spencers (old), denim jacket - vintage Levi's via Ark (similar here), sunglasses - thrifted

I wore this outfit when I went out for a meal in this glorious weather we're having at the minute! The denim jacket's featured again, sorry! I had a few packages arrive last week so I've got plenty of new clothes to keep me satisfied. I've had these shoes pictured for around 3 years now and they are the comfiest little pair of flats that I own, they were about £40 but it just shows it's definitely worth investing in a good quality pair of shoes once in a while! I went to Holi Festival yesterday in Offenbach and had such a good time, the weather turned out great and it was great to experience something like that! I'll pop a couple of pictures below! I also bought this grey denim skirt from urban outfitters yesterday which I've been lusting over for a while, it was on sale for 12 euros!

I hope you all had lovely weekends, what were you up to?

double denim

jeans - republic - so super old, ✄ tee - Primark denim jacket - vintage Levi's via Ark shoes - Primark bag - present from Thailand

I've always been a fan of double denim as it definitely seems to be a love/hate thing. I love light denim together as it gives such a 80s/90s feel and this jacket from that era represents the look I was going for perfectly. I've literally been wearing it none stop since I got it so sorry it's been featured so much on here! I tried desperately to get a blog post up last night but my internet just would not cooperate with me, sigh. I adore this bag my parents got me from Thailand last year, it's just a simple zip up shopper style bag with a long shoulder strap. It's a gorgeous blue/purple colour and has elephants imprinted on it and of course over there it was about £1/£2, amazing. I've had a pretty boring week, just working, washing, cooking etc - I do realise I sound like a 40 year old housewife, not a 20 year old student - what has happened to me?! I'm going to Holi Festival in Frankfurt on Saturday so will definitely be blogging about that, I'm so excited despite the anxiousness I have about the chalk and my hair, as it's bleached! I'm also planning to buy an SLR in September (a while a way, I know) so I can finally have some decent photos on here, better late than never!

layer me up

✖ jeans - Forever 21 (old) black boyfriend tee - Primark ✖  shirt - Vintage Renewal via Urban Outfitters ✖  denim jacket - vintage Levi's via Ark ✖  trainers - New Balance 574's via ASOS

I wore this outfit earlier in the week prior to the gorgeous sunny weather, just in case some of you are wondering why on earth I'm wearing 3 layers in 20 degrees - that's certainly not the case! I'm obsessed with wearing my New Balance trainers at the minute, they're so kind to my feet and are super light for warm weather. I recently picked up this vintage Levi's denim jacket from Ark. I love the light denim and baggy oversized fit, they had a few more on there in their vintage section so if you're looking for an oversized boyfriend denim jacket, I'd definitely recommend one of these! I forgot I owned these jeans and re-discovered them lurking at the back of my wardrobe. If you're looking for a cheap pair of jeans, I'd recommend heading down to Forever 21 as they always have great offers on - I think these one's were around £12 and they're just simple dark denim jeans that go with everything and can be rolled up into crops too, yay!

Have you recently rediscovered something you forgot you even owned?

April Beauty Favourites

Kiko Glow Touch Lips and Cheeks in Intuition Peach, Killer Queen Perfume by Katy Perry, Burts Bees Cuticle Cream, YSL Rouge VoluptĂ© Shine lipstick in Orange Impertinent, Tanya Burr Nail Polish in Peaches and Cream

My April Beauty Favourites is a little late but here was what I was loving in April.

I've seen quite a few beauty bloggers and vloggers talking about Kiko recently as it's fairly new to the UK market but over here in Germany, it's been around for a few years now and is a well established make up brand. The glow touch lips and cheeks came out a few months ago and I picked it up in February whilst visiting a friend. It's very well priced at £6.90 but is currently on offer on the Kiko website for just £4.50 - it's gorgeous as both a blusher and lip balm and unlike some cream blushers, doesn't leave your face feeling sticky. It also smells amaaaaazing - always a bonus.

I've also been loving the Killer Queen fragrance by Katy Perry. I bought this in duty free as I needed a relatively cheap perfume for every day use here in Germany. It's fairly sweet though so definitely avoid if you don't like sweet fragrances.

I'm 99% sure I've mentioned the Burts Bees cuticle cream in a favourites in the past but I love it so much. I sometimes get dry skin round my cuticles and find this gives them the nourishment they so desperately need. It helps leave the skin round my cuticles feeling soft and refreshed.

I've always wondered what the hype was around high end lipsticks so decided I'd give on a try - I can honestly say I don't know how I managed without this one. It's everything you could want in a lipstick - moisturising, well pigmented and the packaging is oh so pretty. It's definitely on the pricier side but it's 100% worth the investment. It's fairly long lasting, not too shiny and the colour is gorgeous. It applies as a peachy orange shade and I've had a lot of people asking me what lipstick it is whilst I've been wearing it which is a great sign!

Finally, I've been loving this nail polish from Tanya Burr's collection. I love Tanya Burr and watch her videos regularly so was so excited when Tanya Burr's Lips & Nails finally launched! Peaches & Cream is a gorgeous nude shade, perfect for Spring/Summer. The packaging is cute and simple with a wide brush for applying evenly and generously. I can't wait to try more from her collection!

What beauty products have you been loving recently and would you recommend?

khaki shirt

shirt - river island (old), tee - forever 21 (old), jeans - urban outfitters, boots - topshop

I'm rushing this blog post as I've been attempting to get it up for hours after much fighting with my internet and am in fear of it going again! I’m finally back into a normal routine and can hopefully start posting a few times a week again instead of just once a week! I’ve been super busy since Easter and had some really lovely weekends with friends and family but I’m finally back to working full weeks and updating more regularly on my blog.

I wore this outfit at the weekend, the weather here’s just been horrible the past couple of weeks and unlucky for me, the majority of my winter clothes are at home now so I’ve had to make do with what little I have. This khaki shirt is surprisingly thick and warm for wet and cold weather. I teamed it with a pair of trusty black skinny jeans, a plain white tee and my new chunky boots from Topshop. I picked them up over Easter, reduced from 90 to 30 pounds. They’re surprisingly comfy but oh so heavy to walk in! The heel is about 3 inches high and the cleated chunky sole is perfect for wet weather.

I've been thinking about doing some food posts on here recently as I've been on a health kick since the beginning of the year and have lost 33lb's so far so if anyone would be interested in any healthy recipe ideas, then I'll definitely be up for doing a few health/food related posts!

I can't believe it's only Tuesday, hurry up weekend so I can have my lie in!

cause you're a tourist, there's nothing wrong with that

dress - Topshop, sandals - ASOS, bag - la moda, sunglasses - Romwe, necklace - Primark

This outfit post is slightly delayed as it's from Vienna last weekend but better late than never. I'm loving drop waist dresses at the minute and picked this one up on sale in Topshop a couple of weeks ago. Even though it was sunny in Vienna, I still find it hard to dress in bright colours so opted for my standard greys and blacks, oops! I'm so glad that there's more chunkier soled sandals around this year, I prefer them so much more to gladiator style sandals and find them super comfy and so wearable. Most people who know me know that I've been lusting after these sunglasses for around a year now and I finally found them on Rowme.com after them being out of stock for so long! I had such a lovely time in Vienna and a lovely weekend with my Mum and friend this past weekend. Unfortunately, tomorrow's back to reality and work before my Nanna and Grandad visit me later in the week :) I'll be sure to update with my April favourites at some point this week!

Hope you all had lovely weekends.

I deserve a slap for leaving it over 2 weeks to update my little blog. However, I cannot explain how busy I've been - my life's been crazy the past couple of weeks: I was home for a week which was pretty manic with McBusted and seeing friends/family then I got back to Germany, was here for a day, then flew to Vienna for my best friends 21st! I got back on Monday night and have been settling back into a daily routine since, ready for a 4 day weekend! (tomorrow's bank holiday in Germany and I've taken Friday off as my Mum and her friend are coming to visit).

I went to see McBusted in Liverpool whilst I was at home and even though it was nearly 2 weeks ago, I still want to share with you what I wore. I got these dungarees from Ark, reduced to £11. I love dungarees for Spring/Summer, I think they're so easy to wear as a different form of casual dress. I'm obsessed with this shirt I got in urban outfitters too, I've been wearing it all the time recently and have already featured it a couple of times on my blog; it's just so, dare I say it, quirky. I don't usually dress up a lot for concerts unless I'm going out afterwards so this outfit was perfect for a simple and comfy look to ensure lots of jumping about and dancing was possible! McBusted were amazing and we had great seats too, thank you o2 priority!

I've spent the past 2 weeks listening to Paolo Nutini's new album non-stop, I'm obsessed with "Iron Sky." Have any of you heard it?

I hope you're all having a great week and bis Sonntag x

P.S. does anyone else always have midi-rings falling off their fingers or is it just me being clumsy losing them ALL the time?
