London Town!

Dress - Topshop £38
Shoes - Forever 21 £7
Clutch - New Look £9.99

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. London was amazing, a very quick and brief trip but super cool! I love London, I have my bitch fits with it sometimes but it's such an amazing city. We went to Help a Capital Child London Ethnic after party at The Village Underground in Shoreditch. There was a fashion show held, live music, a bar then a little party afterwards, which finished pretty early, at around midnight (well that's when it started to die down anyway). We left just before then as we wanted to catch the last tube back to Kings Cross. I had no idea what the dress code was going to be so me and my friend took a guess at smart glam and it was very varied! I wore a monochrome dress from Topshop, pictured above. Finally a different setting for my outfit posts!! I paired it with a neon coral clutch and black lace heels. I got so much fashion inspiration whilst I was there as there was so many different styles going on! All in all, I had a really good night and am now feeling inspired to try new, more unique styles! I'll finish with a few snaps from my trip to Landaaaan!

Monochrome Moment

So here's my nails for the LFW after party on Tuesday! I did them this afternoon as I was extremely bored and just wanted a lazy day. The images I've seen from LFW so far look incredible, it's my dream to go to one of the shows one day! The Topshop Unique Show today was by far my favourite as I'm an avid Topshop fan. The buzz around LFW is getting me even more excited for Tuesday! I've had a pretty boring weekend, I was just working Friday and Saturday night which means I'm nocturnal again for a couple of days!

Anyway, my nails. They're not my own unfortunately, I bought them from Boots. The make is "Kiss" and on a student budget I went for the best deal. There's 100 clear nails in a pack for £6.49 which you can do any design you like on them, I prefer them to the standard French polish nails. My dress for the after party is a monochrome midi from Topshop and I wanted my nails to match so I went with this little cute design. I used two coats of Rimmel Nail Tip Whitener Nail Varnish then used a Model's Own Nail Art Pen in black to draw on the cute monochrome aztec design. I'm not going to lie, it look me an hour or so to complete it but I think it was definitely worth it! I love them and can't wait to put the whole outfit together for Tuesday! I also think this design will look great in Summer with brighter colours such as pinks, blues and greens! Hope you all had a great weekend.

Who Run The World? Girls.

Who Run The World? Girls

Pattern dress
£43 romwe.com

Jeffrey Campbell leather boots
£160 - motelrocks.com

Miss Selfridge black handbag
£20 missselfridge.com

Crafted spike necklace
£8 - republic.co.uk

If anyone else is single like myself, and finds Valentines Day possible the most depressing day ever then think this: you don't need to dress to impress, you just can dress to impress. So I've come up with this simple but fierce outfit to show that girls really do run the world.

As many of you may have guessed, I'm obsessed with the whole space/galaxy prints, I own a dress, leggings, tops, everything. It's reduced at the minute on Romwe and the floaty style of the dress gives a more elegant and classy feel. The shoes are my all time favourite brand, Jeffrey Campbell. I own these shoes with the gold spikes and these are next on my list to buy! (except the classic black leather ones). A simple black clutch doesn't take attention away from the pattern of this dress and ties in nicely with the shoes. Finished with this rusty silver spiked necklace from Republic to match with the spikes of the JC's.

So if you've had a pretty bad day, go out and treat yourself! I did! I bought a lovely monochrome midi dress from Topshop for LFW next week! (I actually featured it on my blog just before Christmas). It was £34 (with student discount) and I cannot wait to wear it at the after party next week!

Hey everyone!

I'm currently sat feeling sorry for myself, starving hungry in my room! (the joys of dieting). I've also realised that I suck at updating on a Sunday because I'm always too lazy/tired from work, so I've come to the conclusion to do my "Week in Pictures" posts on a Monday as it's much more likely to actually get done! I've also started writing for a language learning blog, however my first post probably won't be up until tomorrow but be sure to check it out here. I'm also doing the "February Challenge" at the minute so any old photos on my "Week in Pictures" will be because of that, let's see if I can actually complete one of these challenges for once instead of abandoning after a week or two! Anyway, I'm planning an early night tonight so a quick channel 4 documentary then bed!
