Pale Little Dots

blouse - £14.75 Forever 21
disco pants - £10 Boohoo
shoes - £50 Schuh
necklace - old
white bead bracelet - £6.99 Just B
silver chain charm bracelet - Thomas Sabo
earrings - £1.50 Topshop sale
ring bracelet - £1.50 topshop sale

Went out for dinner tonight with Sareena and here's what I wore. The on trend disco pants were a complete bargain for just £10 on Boohoo. They're really nice fitting, high waisted as they should be and suck you in a treat, which is great for me! My blouse I got this week from Forever 21, really cute Peter Pan collar and makes this outfit pop with a bit of colour; they also had it in navy with emerald spots and black with white spots. My ring bracelet and earrings I snapped up for £1.50 in the Topshop sale the other day along with a few other bits and bobs, all of the sale jewellery has gone down to £1.50 now so I recommend getting down to Topshop fast! Had a pretty quiet week this week but looking forward to next week as I am finally going to see Les Mis! My favourite musical of all time, eek! Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Shades of Chic

I haven't done a beauty related post in a while so I thought I'd do one on my favourite lipsticks of all time. I chose 4 of my favourites which I use religiously pretty much every day.

♥ L-R: Stargazer Lipstick in shade 119. This colour is a very pale but bright pink, perfect to match with floral patterns and for Summer, it's a lovely texture and for only £3.50 it's a bargain Revlon Matte Lipstick in  Kiss Me Coral (750) I only bought this lipstick a few months ago and I've already had so much wear out of it. It's verging on red but with a slight hint of orange and has a beautiful matte finish, it doesn't leave your lips feeling dry at all and it's only £7.49 but look out in Boots as they usually have Revlon on 3 for 2! Kiko Ultra Glossy Stylo Lipstick in Rhododendron Pink (815) this is my favourite lipstick ever. It has a little shine to it to leave a glossy finish, it's a beautiful deep bright pink colour and even has SPF 15 included so you don't have to worry when you're in the sun! The best part is, it's only £3.50! Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Plum (010) as you all may know, this deep purple lipstick colour is on trend at the minute so I decided to buy some a couple of months ago. It leaves a glossy finish and it is actually much darker than it has come up on that photo ^. This one comes in at £7.99 but is well worth the spend.

I also bought some extensions today but I'll be doing a separate post on these soon! Here they are in a quick preview:

Go Go Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

jumper - Forever 21
jeans - Republic
shoes - Converse
silver bracelet - Thomas Sabo
other bracelet - Just B

I bought this amazing jumper yesterday in Forever 21 for just £16.75. I was a huge power rangers fan when I was a kid so I automatically needed this jumper. They had lots of other "cartoon" designs too including: Toy Story, Alice in Wonderland, Iron Man, Avengers, Mickey Mouse and The Lion King and they'e all the same price. I wore it today as I couldn't wait and it's super comfy and surprisingly warm considering it's not that thick. The jeans I got from Republic a while ago, they're the standard high waisted ones that they always have in stock.

I'd just like to mention my bracelet quickly. I'm a fan of The Wanted (don't judge) and Tom Parker (in the band) has recently been promoting these new bracelets branded "Just B", a creation by his own mother. They're really cute as they all have the Just B sign on with a little message e.g. Just B Positive (which is what mine says) or Just B happy. I'd advise you to check them out, they're not The Wanted related if some of you don't like them but they're just really cute and original bracelets which are well worth a purchase!

My nails have been painted with Kiko nail lacquer in shade "342", which weirdly isn't available on the UK website (I bought mine in Germany) but there are plenty of similar shades here. I then drew on leopard style print with a models own nail art pen in black which you can find here.

Week in Pictures #4

Hey fbloggers and bbloggers,

I've had a pretty busy week this week as it was back to work time for me! My legs are feeling it today from standing up for so long, ouch! My new healthy eating plan is going quiet well and I've also joined a gym! I've also managed to squeeze a little bit of shopping in, me and my friend ran into Forever 21 today 10 minutes before they closed and managed to grab a few bargains, talk about speed shopping! I'll be blogging about recent purchases later this week. For now, here's my week in pictures as I lead such an enthralling life (note the sarcasm):

January Favourites.

Guess who's back with a brand new rap... hey! (that was lame, I know)

I'm back! After a crappy couple of weeks with exams, they are officially finished and I can get back to properly writing my blog :) yay! I'm currently sat in bed at home (as I've come home for the weekend) freezing, it's snowed minimally here but it's still cold. I can't physically feel my feet! My exams went quite well I think/hope so fingers crossed I get the results I'm praying for! I did a little on line shopping last week, I'll be posting my purchases on here later in the week when I've done some photos for them. For now, here's my January Favourites:

1. Love Tube Skirt £22 - Topshop 2. Hi Guys Metal Aliceband £8.50 - Topshop 3. Black High Waisted Skinny Jeans £50 - Urban Outfitters 4. Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Asian Flower £14.50 - MAC 5. BaByliss Heated Rollers £29.99 - Boots 6.Navy Disco Pants £10 - Boohoo 7. Coral Messenger Bag £25 - River Island 8. Black Mesh Peplum Dress £38 - River Island

I actually own those disco pants in black and they're amazing! As I can't justify the original American Apparel one's at £70 a pair, I thought these were a perfect substitute. The material is thick and not too shiny, as it should be in my opinion, and they really suck you in just like the American Apparel ones, so if you too don't want to spend £70 on a pair of disco pants, these are a perfect alternative for a seventh of the price! I'll certainly be buying more in different colours.

I Got Stripes

Hey guys!

Sorry it's been a while since I updated, I'm in the middle of my exams and they're not over until Thursday so posts will be slow until after then! I'm back in Birmingham now and fully back into the swing of things (kind of), I'm missing home quite a bit and I've no shifts at work yet which I actually want/need to save to year abroad! This is my first outfit post I've done but I plan to do a lot more in the future - check out the page "Outfits" for all the posts that will be going on!

I also apologise for the setting of my photos, my dingy little uni room, I really need to find a better place to take my photos! Anyone who knows the Birmingham area well - I'm open to suggestions! The tee shirt dress I'm wearing in this photo is from Topshop, I bought it a while ago and I love it, can be dressed both up or down! My studded ankle boots are from Red Herring at Debenhams and I bought those a couple of years ago in the Christmas Sales! The infamous bracelets can be found almost anywhere nowadays! I bought mine on a market in Berlin a few years ago but you'll find them in Topshop, River Island and most high street stores as they're very popular at the minute! My necklace is a simple piece of brown string with my name threaded on on little wooden cubes. My Godmother bought me this necklace when I was 3 years old and I've worn it pretty much every day since, I did come across similar necklaces a few years ago in a little country shop in the Lake District but they're pretty hard to find and a lot of them nowadays are kids necklaces, but I'm sure if you scour the internet, you'll find one!

I have a huge list of things that I'll be blogging about over the next few weeks including: more outfit posts, January wishes, pleather, flatforms, a "what's in my bag" and much more!

New Years Eve: What I Wore!

Howdy folks,

I'm not in the best of moods as my student loan hasn't gone in and won't go in until Monday therefore my sales shopping has been postponed :-( however, I am picking up the dress I ordered from house of fraser last week tomorrow so I'll be posting a few photos of that! I got an iPhone 5 yesterday too so I cannot complain about life, a great deal from phones 4 u and if anyone's looking to go on contract with the iPhone 5, I'd 100% recommend them!

Anyway, I'm a couple of days late with this but here's what I wore on New Years Eve:

The playsuit is a silky black top with a silver cotton bottom. I bought it back in September in the sale at Miss Selfridge for £15 reduced from £35 and this was the first time I've worn it. It's super comfy and easy to match things with, I paired it with a black and gold clutch, some huge statement gold earrings and some plain black suede heels. I just wore it with a grey bandeau underneath which I bought from ASOS a couple of years ago! You could wear anything underneath this type of thing though: vest top, just a bra or a bandeau. The only problem I found with this playsuit is that the bottoms creased SO easily. I put it on freshly ironed and after standing up from sitting down for a few minutes in the car, it already had noticeable creases.

For someone who doesn't usually like New Years Eve, I really enjoyed this year. A friend of mine just had a family and close friends little party at her house where we saw the new year in and had drinks, lots of them! We then headed into "Poulton", the little town where I live to a club for a couple of hours then headed home! What did you all do for new years eve? I'm super busy with exams the next couple of weeks now so posts may be shorter and less frequent but I'm going to try my best to do as many as possible!

Week in Pictures #2

Hi all!

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a lovely time with friends/family over the weekend. Just a quick "week in pictures". I've made a huge list of things I'm going to blog about in the upcoming weeks so there should be no shortage of posts! I'll also be going sale shopping this weekend when I get back to Birmingham and they'll be a post to follow. Comments are appreciated and hopefully I can get a lot more followers in the next few months on here. I'd really love any feedback (positive or negative) to help me improve my blog. I'll be doing a lot more outfit posts this year, just getting around to finding the perfect place to take the photos and I must lose some weight too before the outfit posts increase! I'm really not comfortable with the way I look and feel at the minute so I'll be keeping you up to date on how that goes in the next few months before I venture off to Germany for my year abroad (hopefully!). Anyway, here's my week in pictures:

my cycling themed Christmas presents (I'm a huge cycling fan), Christmas day ootd, strawberry and lime kopparberg, Christmas dinner!, banoffee cheesecake with cream, reminiscing from 2012: me, Max (The Wanted) and Andy (Lawson) in London back in October, New Years Eve outfit: playsuit - Miss Selfridge (old), shoes - Topshop (old), New Years Eve!, celebrating New Years Eve with a few of my best friends!
